Patricia A. Koval is a corporate director based in Toronto, Canada. She is the Lead Director of the Board of Trans Mountain Corporation and a director of the real estate, construction, property management and senior living communities companies of the Tridel Group. She is also a director of the Nature Conservancy of Canada (NCC), the Chair of NCC’s Ontario Regional Advisory Board and a member of NCC’s Conservation Committee and of its Nature+ Climate Accelerator. She is the Chair of the Board of the Toronto and Region Conservation Foundation and serves on a number of other non-profit boards. She is a member of the Advisory Council of Wildlife Conservation Society.
Pat is a former Senior Partner of Torys LLP, where she practiced corporate, securities and governance law. Pat has a long history of volunteering in the conservation sector where, among other things, she is a Past Chair of the Board of World Wildlife Fund Canada and a past Board member of Rainforest Trust. She has a long history of supporting turtle conservation and, in 2024, received the Pritchard Turtle Conservation Lifetime Achievement Award. Pat and her husband are the founding donors of Koval Tinker Turtle Hospital in Peterborough, Ontario. Pat has an Honours BA in Economics (summa cum laude) and graduated from the joint MBA/J.D. program at Schulich School of Business and Osgoode Hall Law School in Toronto, Canada.
