Originally from Las Vegas, and a long-time New York City (Queens) resident, Jack Costello joined Turtle Survival Alliance in 2026 as Senior Manager of Development Operations. He works across the systems and processes that support fundraising, focusing on making information more reliable, workflows more usable, and the team better equipped to act on what they’re seeing.
Jack’s background spans several corners of the nonprofit world, including community-based organizations and groups working in health and research. Across those roles, he was drawn to the operational side of development: the work that helps fundraising teams stay organized, see the full picture, and move more effectively. At TSA, he is excited to bring that experience into conservation and support a mission with global reach.
Outside of the office, Jack is an avid reader (stubbornly working his way through the Malazan Book of the Fallen series) and enjoys weekend motorcycle trips with his wife when the weather permits.
