The Maintenance/Grounds Keeper assists with general maintenance and groundskeeping at the Turtle Survival Center (TSC) in Cross, South Carolina. This position involves horticulture work such as pruning vegetation, removing unwanted vegetation, gardening, harvesting foods grown on site, and mowing. The Maintenance/Groundskeeper also assists with facility maintenance, construction, and renovation. This position is 100% on-site.
We are looking for a passionate and driven individual to join our Chelonian care staff at the Turtle Survival Center (TSC), our world-class facility. This position will provide animal husbandry, horticulture, and general maintenance at the TSC, working closely with the other Chelonian Keepers and TSC Staff. Working at the TSC offers the best opportunity to work with turtles in captivity and learn to provide the highest standard of care at our AZA-accredited facility. This job is 100% on-site and is physically located in Cross, South Carolina.
