Sponsorship
Your support not only strengthens the Symposium itself, it also helps shape the future generation of turtle conservation leaders. Each sponsorship provides critical funding for the event, supports travel grants for students and early-career conservationists from around the world, and advances science-based training and on-the-ground conservation initiatives that protect endangered species.
Through travel grants, we are able to bring voices to the table that might otherwise be excluded – field biologists, community-based conservationists, and emerging researchers working in biodiversity hotspots. Their participation strengthens global knowledge exchange, ensures diverse perspectives are represented, and accelerates solutions for species on the brink of extinction.
TSA awards travel grants to participants from countries around the world, enabling them to share their work, build collaborations, and gain access to training that directly benefits conservation efforts in their home regions.
By sponsoring the Symposium, your organization demonstrates a meaningful commitment to collaboration, capacity-building, and long-term conservation impact.
Discover the full range of sponsorship opportunities and benefits in our 2026 Sponsorship Packet and join us in making a lasting difference.

Know Before You Go
This year’s Symposium takes place in Chattanooga, Tennessee, recently named the first-ever National Park City in the U.S. With its rivers, ridgelines, and abundant wildlife, it’s a fitting home for a week of turtle conservation, connection, and exploration.
Getting around: The official hotel of the conference is the Chattanooga Marriott Downtown, and the sessions will take place at the Chattanooga Convention Center. These sites are connected to each other, offering easy access to event space.
A free electric shuttle runs downtown between most of the major Symposium locations, including the hotel and convention center, the Icebreaker Social and Workshops at the Tennessee Aquarium, and the Drink Beer. Save Turtles® event at Naked River Brewing.
You can view the shuttle route and schedule here. And, we’ll have city maps available at registration to help you navigate the area and make the most of your stay.
Arriving early? Sunday, July 20 is a great day to explore. We’d recommend that you consider visiting local staples like Rock City or Cloudland Canyon State Park, or hiking trails at spots such as Falling Water Falls, Signal Mountain, or the Cumberland Trail.
Visit Chattanooga’s official site has more suggestions, maps, and travel tips here, as well as restaurant suggestions, and other things to do in the city.
Local tips: Expect hot, humid weather. Pack light, breathable clothes, sun protection, and stay hydrated with refillable water bottles. If you’re going into the wilderness, please wear bug repellent and, as always, please follow all state and federal regulations when viewing native wildlife.
We hope you enjoy all that Chattanooga has to offer during your visit, both inside and outside the conference!
