Due to recent events, the Turtle Survival Alliance and WCS India have ended their partnership. WCSI will manage logistical coordination to wind down ongoing projects, and Turtle Survival Alliance will provide financial support to this process. The Alliance will pursue new opportunities to contribute to turtle conservation in India.
This decision was made in line with our focus to ensure that our worldwide operations and work reflects our shared values and commitment to empowering people of all ages and all backgrounds working together for the conservation of freshwater turtles and tortoises.
As we look forward, the Turtle Survival Alliance will continue to pursue opportunities to protect and restore India’s wild turtle populations.
