The Turtle Survival Alliance and IUCN/SSC Tortoise and Freshwater Turtle Specialist Group invite you to join us for the 21st Annual Symposium on the Conservation and Biology of Tortoises and Freshwater Turtles, July 31 - August 3, 2023, in Charleston, South Carolina, USA! As always, the Symposium will again provide an unmatched opportunity for those in our field to share their research, initiatives, techniques, and accomplishments.
The Symposium kicks off with a field trip to our Turtle Survival Center and an ice-breaker at the South Carolina Aquarium on Monday, July 31st, followed by three days of presentations from around the world, a Drink Beer. Save Turtles.® event at Rusty Bull Brewing Co., and concludes with the annual awards banquet, Thursday evening, August 3rd. This is THE ANNUAL EVENT you do not want to miss. Abstract Submission Guidelines
The Turtle Survival Alliance and the IUCN/SSC Tortoise and Freshwater Turtle Specialist Group are pleased to announce the Call for Abstracts for Oral and Poster presentations for our joint 21st Annual Symposium on the Conservation and Biology of Tortoises and Freshwater Turtles.
The time is NOW to put pen to paper and tell us why YOU should present your findings, accomplishments, and techniques to the largest gathering of tortoise and freshwater turtle specialists in the world.

Turtle Survival Alliance and the IUCN/SSC Tortoise and Freshwater Turtle Specialist Group are pleased to announce the Call for Sessions for our joint 21st Annual Symposium on the Conservation and Biology of Tortoises and Freshwater Turtles. As always, our dedicated Program Committee is working to bring together a wide variety of presentations from around the world, ranging in topic from captive husbandry to field techniques, conservation actions to nesting ecology, emergent diseases to veterinary practices, and more! We look forward to hearing YOUR suggested session for the 21st Annual Symposium!
