18th Annual Symposium

on the Conservation and Biology of

Tortoises and Freshwater Turtles

— A Virtual Experience —

August 6 – September 24, 2020

The Turtle Survival Alliance (TSA) and IUCN Tortoise and Freshwater Turtle Specialist Group (TFTSG) invite you to join us for our 1st ever Virtual, and 18th Annual, Symposium on the Conservation and Biology of Tortoises and Freshwater Turtles. Spanning eight weeks, this symposium, sponsored by Zoo Med Laboratories, will provide an unmatched virtual opportunity for those in our field to share their research, initiatives, techniques, and accomplishments, while engaging safely and comfortably from our own homes and offices – or even the field.

As always, our dedicated Program Committee is working to bring together a wide variety of presentations from around the world, ranging in topic from captive husbandry to field techniques to conservation. Each week, on Thursday, we will present a new session featuring several speakers, for the duration of the eight-week symposium. Furthermore, the symposium will include two poster sessions that will be available for online viewing and interaction. This is THE virtual event to attend. Understanding that these are difficult times for many, the TSA and IUCN TFTSG, in collaboration with Zoo Med Laboratories, are happy to bring this Virtual Symposium to you free of charge.

Sign up to receive our eNewsletter HERE to make sure that you get the most up-to-date Virtual Symposium information as it becomes available.

We can’t wait to see and hear from you online!
